The website 24/7 Wall St. developed an index based on poverty rate, education and life expectancy. They then ranked counties based on well-being.  Montgomery County ranks 14th  in the US. Helping Mongomery County obtain that ranking, the many high-paying government contractors and their jobs, including Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, and Northrop Grumman.
