There is a new neighborhood shopping area on the horizon in Germantown! Located at Seneca Meadows Parkway and Observation Drive just off Father Hurley Boulevard, the 1 million square foot area of The Shops at Seneca Meadows will be a mixed used center, incorporating retail, restaurants and office space. It will be larger than the nearby 800,000 square foot Milestone development.
Wegmans, the only one in Montgomery County, was one of the first shops to sign on, anchoring the project, with 200,000 square feet of space. There will be three other buildings, which may include restaurant Café Rio, Famous Dave’s and Panera Bread. A few of the stores will offer beauty services such as hair and nails, and other retail shops include a mattress store, flooring, spirits and more. The office space will be located on the second floor of one of the buildings. The center is set up for both in-line space and pad sites.
In the later phases of the development, Seneca Meadows Parkway and other streets will be designed as an urban, walkable destination.
Access into The Shops at Seneca Meadows will be located at Observation Drive and Seneca Meadows Parkway, which can be accessed from both Rt. 118 and Father Hurley Blvd. The Shops at Seneca Meadows, scheduled for delivery in mid-2013, will also give patrons other shopping and dining options from that of nearby Milestone.
