Quince Orchard High School opened its doors in 1988 serving Gaithersburg. Approximately 24 advanced placement courses are offered. QOHA has great athletic depart, arts department, as well as having received record breaking scores for their marching band.
Feeder schools to Quince Orchard HS are Lakelands Park and Ridgeview Middle Schools; the elementary schools associated with QOHS are Brown Station, Rachel Carson, Diamond, Fields Road, Jones Lane and Thurgood Marshall.
